Ali Jo (Sheets) Neuman

Director

Ali Jo (Sheets) Neuman is no stranger to the Great Falls theater arts scene. After falling in love with music and live performances at an early age, she was given numerous opportunities on stage and off through her involvement with Great Falls High Theatre, Pretty One Productions, and she eventually founded and owned her own theatre company, NDM Productions. Most recently, you may have seen her costume designs for the Great Falls Theatre Company’s productions of Oklahoma!, A Charlie Brown Christmas, and she also served as Co-Director for The Music Man last summer. Behind the scenes, Ali is a founding Board Member of GFTC and currently serves as the Board Secretary. Endless gratitude to her friends and family, the cast and crew of Rocky, and everyone at GFTC for their constant support and encouragement.

The Rocky Horror Show

Synopsis:

The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975), directed by Jim Sharman and adapted from Richard O’Brien’s 1973 stage musical, opens with ominous floating lips singing “Science Fiction/Double Feature,” framed by a future-set narrator who guides viewers through the tale. After attending a friend’s wedding, the newly engaged Brad Majors and Janet Weiss experience car trouble on a stormy night. Seeking help, they stumble upon the eerie gothic castle of Dr. Frank‑N‑Furter, an alien transvestite scientist from “Transsexual, Transylvania.” Welcomed by the eccentric household—including Riff Raff, Magenta, and Columbia—they are swept into Frank’s bizarre and seductive world, marked by high-energy musical numbers like “The Time Warp” and “Sweet Transvestite”.
Inside the castle, Frank unveils his creation: Rocky, a physically perfected man he has just brought to life (“I Can Make You a Man”). As chaos unravels, Eddie—the biker delivery boy—escapes a freezing chamber only to be swiftly killed by Frank in a brutal mercy killing (“Hot Patootie”). Meanwhile, Frank seduces both Brad and Janet, cross‑dressing as each other, and Janet further entices Rocky into intimacy (“Touch‑a, Touch‑a, Touch‑a, Touch Me”). Later, in a grisly dinner scene, Eddie’s mutilated remains are served as the entrée. Frank’s household rebels—Riff Raff and Magenta—seize control and, declaring mutiny, kill Frank and others. The castle lifts off into space with the departed, leaving Brad, Janet, and Dr. Scott stranded in the desolate landscape, observed by the narrator’s grim closing observation: humanity, “lost in time, and lost in space… and meaning”.

Directors Note:

Welcome to The Rocky Horror Picture Show- a glitter-soaked love letter to nonconformity, sexual liberation, and the pure joy of doing the Time Warp again (and again).
At first glance, this show might seem like a chaotic mash up of sci fi, B-movies tropes, and campy musical numbers- but beneath the fishnets and ray guns lies something deeper: a modern fairy tale. Where castles are laboratories, and freedom is found in sequins, stilettos, and self- expression.
To direct this show is to invite audiences into a space that celebrates individuality, androgyny, and the messy, beautiful business of becoming who you are- without apology. Whether you’re here to shout callbacks or you’re a Rocky Horror virgin, you’re part of the magic now.
Huge thanks to The Great Falls Theatre Company and The Newberry for allowing us to make this weird, wonderful production- and to the brilliant cast and crew who gave themselves fully to this ridiculous journey.
So hold on to your garter belt, keep an open mind, and let’s get strange.
With laughs, love, and a little lip stick,
Ali Neuman | Director

Kyrstin Hagins

Phantom

Kyrstin is thrilled to present The Rocky Horror Show to the Great Falls community!! Being in Rocky is a dream come true for her! Having known she wanted to act since she was 5, Kyrstin followed her dreams to the University of Montana where she graduated a few years ago with a dual-BFA in acting and costuming. Some of her favorite roles she played before her time here include Lizzie Bennet in Pride and Prejudice, #00 from The Wolves, and Montressor in The Mind of Poe. This is Kyrstin’s fifth show with the Great Falls Theatre Company following performances including Laurie in Oklahoma! and Annelle in Steel Magnolias. Kyrstin has big aspirations for herself and theater, and hopes to make it to a large arts city soon. For now she is very lucky to be a full-time petsitter and loves taking in the Montana landscape with her collie Seamus. Waiting for you to experience this show has had her shivering with antici….. pation!

Steven Cameron

Narrator

Steven is delighted to be part of “The Rocky Horror Show” with the Great Falls Theatre Company. This is his third production with GFTC. He appeared mere months ago as the Rabbi in “Fiddler on the Roof” and last summer as the Train Conductor in “The Music Man.” Other favorite roles have included Barnette Lloyd in “Crimes of the Heart” and Hucklebee in “The Fantasticks.” When not on stage, Steven enjoys classic films, word puzzles, and spaghetti-os with meatballs.
Ryan is astounded to step into the iconic role of Riff Raff for GFTC’s production of The Rocky Horror Show. A theatre artist for over 25 years, Ryan has directed, acted, and choreographed across a wide range of productions, including directing and choreographing Rocky Horror himself 13 years ago for his local community theatre in Sidney, Ohio. His Great Falls Theatre Company credits include performing in this past spring’s Comedy Night and playing the brooding Jud Fry in the company’s first summer musical, Oklahoma! He also directed GFTC’s A Charlie Brown Christmas, Steel Magnolias, and most recently directed and choreographed this past summer’s highly praised production of Fiddler on the Roof. Much like Frank N. Furter piecing together his wild creation, Ryan has had the joy of helping build GFTC into the vibrant theatre company it is today. Collaborating with GFTC and partnering with The Newberry to bring bold, joyful theatre to Great Falls is truly a dream come true. Ryan is grateful for the support and excitement of friends, family, and audiences alike. Now, sit back, relax, give yourself over to absolute pleasure, and LET’S DO THE TIME WARP AGAIN!

Keenan MacKenzie

Stage Manager

When offered the position of Stage Manager for the Rocky Horror Show Keenan was thrilled to be a part of the production, although slightly nervous to play a tech role that he doesn’t often play. Keenan has been a sound technician and designer with the Great Falls Theatre Company since Steel Magnolias in the spring of 2024, and has been involved in every show since. Even though sound is where his tech passion lies he has been honored to stage manage GFTC’s production of the Rocky Horror Show. He has greatly enjoyed working with and supporting all of the actors and fellow crew members as the show has come together. When not doing theatre you can find Keenan skating with Electric City Roller Derby under the name T-Shot in the Dark and the number 101.
Keenan would like to thank board and cast member Kaylee LaClair for the support and encouragement to take on a stage managing role, and for trusting him to play the tech role she usually does while she takes the stage. He would also like to thank director Ali Jo Neuman for being an amazing creative partner throughout this whole process and for her support in matters both Rocky Horror and otherwise.
